Ingredients
For the topping:
2bananas
1/2cupbrown or golden sugar
1/4cupbutter
For the cake
2cupsflour
1cupsugar
3eggs
1/2cupvegetable oil
1ripe bananamashed
1tspcinnamon
1tspvanilla sugar or extract
1tbspbaking powder
3/4cupmilk
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Line a round baking tray with parchment paper. In a small pan, melt the butter with the brown sugar for a few minutes, then pour and spread evenly at the bottom of the tray.
Slice the 2 bananas and arrange them neatly on top of the sugar-butter layer.
In a bowl, beat the eggs with sugar until fluffy. Add the vegetable oil, mashed banana, vanilla, cinnamon, baking powder, and milk. Mix until smooth.
Gradually fold in the flour until everything is well combined.
Pour the batter evenly over the banana slices.
Bake for 40–45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Remove from oven and carefully flip the cake onto a serving plate, then peel off the parchment paper.
