Notes
• Rinse Thoroughly:Rinse the black beans and corn well to remove excess sodium and any canning liquid for a cleaner flavor.• Uniform Chopping: Dice your vegetables into small, even pieces so every bite delivers a balanced mix of textures and flavors.• Use Fresh Herbs: Incorporate fresh parsley or cilantro to brighten the dish and enhance its overall taste.• Customize the Heat: If you prefer more spice, add a jalapeño or extra chili flakes to kick up the flavor.• Let It Marinate: Allow the salsa to sit in the refrigerator for 15–30 minutes so the flavors meld beautifully together.• Add Avocado Last: To maintain its creamy texture and prevent browning, stir in avocado just before serving.• Adjust the Dressing: Taste your dressing and feel free to tweak the lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and garlic according to your preference.• Versatile Serving Options: Enjoy your black bean salsa as a dip with tortilla chips, as a vibrant topping for tacos, or as a refreshing side salad with grilled steak or chicken.
