Chocolate chip banana bread recipe

Ingredients

3 to 4 large bananas

1 1/2 cups of flour

1/2 cup of sugar, sweetener, or honey

1 large egg

1/3 cup of vegetable oil

1 tsp of vanilla extract

1 tsp of baking soda

1/8 tsp of salt

1/2 cup of milk chocolate chips (1/4 inside the batter and 1/4 for topping)

  • 1/4 cup of pecans optional
  • 1/4 cup of golden raisins optional

Instructions

  • 1.Mash the bananas until smooth.
  • 2.Add sugar, egg, and vanilla extract, then mix until combined.
  • 3.Stir in the flour, baking soda, salt, and milk until just incorporated.
  • 4.Fold in the chocolate chips and raisins (if using).
  • 5.Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan, then top with the remaining chocolate chips and pecans (if using).
  • 6.Bake at 340°F for about 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let cool before slicing and enjoying!
