Add pasta sauce and water, stir, cover, and let simmer on low for 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente.
Drain the pasta and add it to the sauce.
Add Parmesan and mozzarella cheese and mix well. You can serve it as is, or continue to bake it.
Transfer the pasta to a baking dish. Pour whipping cream on top for extra creaminess and gently mix.
Top with more mozzarella cheese and bake at 400°F (200°C) for about 20 minutes, until bubbly and melted.
Serve warm with garlic bread
Notes
You can use any type of pasta, but short pasta shapes hold the sauce best.
Whipping cream or a can of thickened cream (ashta) makes the pasta extra creamy but is optional.
Serve immediately or bake with cheese on top for a cheesy, bubbly finish.
Store pasta and sauce separately to prevent the pasta from drying out.
