Ingredients

  • 2 cup flour
  • 2 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar together until the mixture is smooth and slightly frothy.
  • Add the oil and milk (or the milk-water combination) to the egg mixture, and whisk until well combined.
  • Gradually add the flour, baking powder, cornstarchvanilla extract, and salt. Mix everything together until the batter is smooth and free of lumps.
  • Preheat your waffle maker. Once it’s hot, pour a ladleful of the batter into the center, spreading it slightly if needed. Close the waffle maker and cook for a couple of minutes until the waffles are golden and crispy.
