Fettih

Fattih is a popular Middle Eastern dish made of layers of crispy pita bread, chickpeas, and a garlicky tahini yogurt sauce. Commonly served for breakfast or as appetizer, this fattih recipe is a satisfying meatless meal that comes together fast. I love eating fattih for dinner sometimes light, delicious and so easy to make, it’s one of the dishes that my family would eat any time of the day. There is many ways of making fattih and so many recipes some with vegetables as fried eggplant and diced fried potatoes or with meat as ground beef, chicken or shrimp.

✨Ingredients✨

2 pita bread cut into small cubes 1 cup cooked chick peas Toasted nuts with 1 tbsp ghee Pomegranate seeds

Chopped parsley Sauce:

3 cups yogurt 2 tbsp tahini 1 tbsp dry mint 1/2 tbsp salt or less for your liking 1 minced garlic 1/4 cup cold water

✨Instructions✨ 1: cut pita bread then deep fry, airfry or bake till golden color ( if baked or air fried add oil to the bread)

2: warm 1 can of chick peas

3: mix yogurt with tahini, dried mint, salt, garlic and water ( if it’s too thick add little bit more water and if your yogurt runny don’t add water)

4: in a pan add ghee then add the kind of nuts that you like toast till golden color

5: start assembling the fattih plate by adding the crunchy bread, chickpeas, yogurt, then top it with the roasted bites some chopped parsley and pomegranate seeds.

6: the best to eat right away before breads gets soft
