One pot steak and rice

This one pot recipe makes the perfect easy dinner ready within 30 minutes,
can be served with side of salad or plain yogurt.

You can change the spices to your liking or add different veggies or use basmati rice instead of parboiled rice.

1 lb tendrlion or ribeye meat 

1 small onion sliced  

2 sliced or chopped garlic cloves 

1 small mild jalapeño 

1/2 cup sliced mushrooms

2 cups parboiled rice  

4 cups water or beef broth

1\4 cup vegetable or olive oil 

parsley to garnish 

 -spices:

2 tsp salt 

1 tsp paprika 

1/2 tsp black pepper 

1 tsp 7spice 

use only tenderloin or ribeye meat both meats gets soft right away. 

You can add beef broth instead of water or beef boullion cube

1:soak parboiled rice for one hour

2:cut the meat into thin slices.

3: in a pan add oil then add the sliced meat and cook on moth sides.

4: season the meat with salt and black pepper

5; move the steaks to a plate.
6:in the same pan add more oil then add onion and garlic sauté for a minute then add jalapeños and mushrooms sauté for couple minutes then add the rice with the spices and mix.

7: move the rice to the side of the pan then add back in the steaks top it with the rice and water.

8; when the water start to bubble lower the heat and cover

9: cook for 25 minutes then turn off the heat and keep covered for another 5 minutes

10: uncover then flip

11: enjoy this dish with side of salad or yogurt
